We (Idaho State Historical Society) can provide copies of most of the records indexed in these databases. If we do not own the records, we can tell you who does. Please keep in mind that the same records may be available on microfilm from the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah, as well--via your local LDS family history center.
A list of local family history centers nationwide is available at http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHC/frameset_fhc.asp
To discover what microfilmed records the Family History Library (SLC) owns, please see their online catalog at http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp
Additionally, the Idaho State Historical Society operates the Idaho State Archives, the state repository for original territorial, state, county and city records of enduring value. These include civil, criminal, death, land, marriage, tax, state penitentiary, wills and estate records, among many other record types, many of them existing only in their original, paper form and never microfilmed.
Finally, the Idaho State Archives Research Library owns the most complete set of local newspapers from around the state and from throughout its history (all on microfilm).
If any or all of these records types looks helpful, or if we may be of any additional service whatsoever, please call or visit us at 208.334.2682, 2205 Old Penitentiary Road, Boise, or http://history.idaho.gov/archives-research-requests.
